This is an excellent opportunity for a Functional Skills Tutor, SEND Tutor, SEN Teacher, or Alternative Provision Tutor looking for flexible part-time work while making a meaningful difference to young people's educational outcomes, independence, and future employability. The successful candidate will support learners from Entry Level 1 through to Level 2, helping them develop essential literacy, numeracy, communication, and life skills in a supportive and engaging learning environment. Key Responsibilities Deliver Functional Skills Maths and English from Entry Level 1 to Level 2 Plan and adapt lessons to meet individual learner needs and EHCP outcomes Create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment Support learners with SEND, autism, learning difficulties, SEMH, and additional needs Assess learner progress and provide regular feedback Work collaboratively with support staff and multidisciplinary teams Promote learner independence, confidence, and personal development Maintain accurate records and contribute to learner reviews where required Who We're Looking for Experience delivering Functional Skills Maths and English Experience supporting learners with SEND, SEMH, autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, or additional needs Teaching qualification desirable (QTS, PGCE, Cert Ed, PTLLS, AET, CET, DET or equivalent) Strong classroom management and behaviour support skills Ability to differentiate learnin...
