This permanent leadership opportunity is ideal for an experienced Assistant Headteacher, Deputy Headteacher, SENCO, Head of Year, Pastoral Leader, or aspiring senior leader looking to take the next step within specialist education. Working alongside the Head of School and Senior Leadership Team, you will help shape the strategic direction of the school while leading the day-to-day operational management of a nurturing, trauma-informed learning environment. You will play a key role in improving outcomes for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs , Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) , autism, ADHD and associated learning needs. Key Responsibilities Support the Head of School with the strategic leadership and operational management of the school Lead on teaching and learning, behaviour, attendance and pupil outcomes across the provision Coach, mentor and develop teachers, support staff and middle leaders Promote outstanding practice across SEMH, SEND and inclusive education Support safeguarding across the school, including acting as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL), where appropriate Monitor school performance data and implement strategies to drive continuous improvement Build positive relationships with pupils, families, local authorities and external professionals Foster a safe, nurturing and inclusive le...
