The Role As the school's English Teacher, you will: Deliver engaging and creative English lessons to secondary-aged pupils with SEN, SEMH and additional learning needs Adapt teaching to meet individual EHCP targets and learning styles Build positive, trusting relationships that encourage confidence, resilience and academic progress Create a calm, structured classroom where every pupil feels safe, valued and able to succeed Monitor progress and work collaboratively with support staff, therapists and senior leaders to achieve the best outcomes for every learner We're Looking For Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience teaching English at secondary level A genuine passion for supporting pupils with SEN, SEMH or additional needs Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills A patient, resilient and nurturing approach to teaching Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one) Why Join This School?
