Duties and Responsibilities The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.
Provide Admin Portal (NJCAA Salesforce Compliance Solution) support to the membership via email, phone, and webchat inquiries. Stay abreast of all Admin Portal processes and procedures as well as developing solutions. Respond to compliance and eligibility inquiries via telephone, email, and webchat. Responses require use and application of NJCAA Bylaws and NJCAA precedent via electronic resources. Request, receive, organize, and process eligibility and letter of intent audits. Review FERPA protected education records (e.g., high school transcripts, college transcripts, diplomas, course schedules, course catalogues, etc.) used by member colleges to verify student-athlete eligibility. Receive student-athlete hardship requests via email or mail, file them electronically, and review and all corresponding forms (e.g., FERPA protected education records and HIPPA protected medical records) to make rulings on student-athlete eligibility. Receive and review non-collegial reports via email. Send requests to members schools for additional information as needed, review all corresponding evidence (audio, video, written reports, etc.), and draft ruling(s) per NJCAA bylaws and policies. Provide governance and administrative support for various committees and working groups of the NJCAA Board of Regents. Interpret bylaws and draft ruling letters for various areas including, but not limited to, Club Status, eligibility exemptions, etc. Develop and lead presentations on NJCAA bylaws and Admin Portal. Support efforts to create educational content via Canvas.

Associate degree required, Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
Some professional experience in a field related to intercollegiate athletics compliance or legal compliance preferred.
Experience with Canvas (as student, instructor, or content creator) preferred.
Demonstrated customer service, organization, leadership, planning, and conflict management. A good command of Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite.
The ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to establish positive public relations and to interact effectively with staff, member colleges, athletic directors, and student- athletes.
The ability to establish and maintain collaborative, effective working relationships with team members, member colleges, athletic directors, student-athletes, and the public.
