Production Manager

Our client is a small but growing manufacturing business seeking a hands-on Production Manager to take ownership of their production operations. This is an opportunity for a current line leader or supervisor to take the next step in their career. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will play a key role in driving efficiency, quality, and team performance. Key Responsibilities: Manage and coordinate all day-to-day production activities Plan and schedule workloads across operatives and machinery Work hands-on within the production team, including operating machinery Oversee stock control, purchasing, and supplier coordination Ensure high standards of health & safety and provide staff training Maintain and improve quality control systems Plan preventative and reactive maintenance Coordinate transport and logistics Requirements: Proven experience in a manufacturing/production environment Hands-on experience setting and running machinery Strong organisational and problem-solving skills Confident communicator with the ability to liaise with suppliers and customers Self-motivated and able to work independently IT literate Working Hours Monday- Friday, 7.30am- 4.30pm Why Apply?
