We are seeking an experienced Estate Planning Paralegal to join a growing estate planning practice in

Scottsdale. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys drafting sophisticated estate

planning documents, working directly with clients, and contributing to a collaborative, fast-paced legal team.

EXPERIENCE 3+ years of estate planning paralegal experience

EMPLOYMENT TYPE Contract-to-hire or direct placement, pending candidate experience

POSITION OVERVIEW

The successful candidate will have strong technical drafting skills, excellent written and verbal

communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Draft estate planning documents including trusts, wills, powers of attorney, deeds, LLC formation

documents, and other estate and business planning documents

• Meet directly with clients to review and finalize estate planning documents

• Prepare, proofread, and edit legal documents for accuracy and completeness

• Maintain organized client files and ensure all documentation is completed accurately and on time

• Coordinate client appointments and communicate with clients throughout the planning process

• Assist with administrative functions including answering phones, scheduling appointments, processing

mail, collecting payments, and general office support

• Work collaboratively with attorneys and fellow paralegals to provide an exceptional client experience

QUALIFICATIONS — REQUIRED

• Minimum of three (3) years of estate planning paralegal experience

• Experience drafting trusts, wills, powers of attorney, deeds, LLCs, and related estate planning

documents

• Experience with WealthCounsel software

• Strong attention to detail with excellent proofreading and organizational skills

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

 

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Professional, positive attitude with strong client service skills

QUALIFICATIONS — PREFERRED

• Bachelor's degree or Paralegal/Legal Assistant Certificate

• Experience working with estate planning and business formation documents

• Strong research and problem-solving abilities

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Full-time, on-site position in Scottsdale, Arizona

• Office-based environment requiring extended periods of sitting, typing, and computer work

• Collaborative team environment focused on delivering high-quality legal services and an outstanding

client experience
