About the Role
1. Material Planning & Vendor Management - Manage material planning for the Water Pump Business, ensuring uninterrupted material availability from both domestic and overseas supplier base 2. Procurement & Order Processing - Execute sales order processing, PR/PO follow-ups with suppliers to ensure timely procurement and adherence to delivery commitments. 3. Dispatch & Logistics Coordination - Plan and monitor dispatches, prepone deliveries when required, track shipments, and coordinate with transporters and godown teams for timely material inwarding and GR creation. 4. Daily Operations & OOH Handling - Manage OOH working, urgent material movements, and resolution of supply-chain issues to support production and sales requirements. 5. Product Development Activities - Handle product development including requirement identification, prototyping, testing, techno-commercial comparisons, technical documentation, and support during product launches. 6. Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Development- Identify, develop, and onboard new suppliers to drive strategic sourcing initiatives aimed at improving cost competitiveness, quality, and supply reliability. 7. Quality Improvement & VAVE Initiatives - Drive quality improvement actions and implement VAVE opportunities in existing products to enhance performance, reduce cost, and improve customer satisfaction. 8. MIS, Systems & Cross-Functional Coordination - Prepare and analyze MIS reports, support system implementation and process improvements, and coordinate closely with Purchase, Quality, Finance, and IT teams for smooth operations.
