We are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer for a remote assignment. The selected candidate will work on projects including semiconductor cleanrooms, laboratories and other state of the art industrial environments.

Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

** This position requires a Professional Engineer License (PE) **


Responsibilities
- Provide design work, perform quality reviews of design packages and assist directly with other portions of the design process
- Interact directly with the client, owner and contractors to assist construction on-site
- Establish design requirements and produce construction documents.
- Engineering and design for data center facility power distribution systems, UPS, emergency systems, grounding, lighting and low voltage communication systems
- Design may include retrofit of existing building systems
- Additional responsibilities may include the management of quality, scope, budget and schedule


Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering
- A Professional Engineer License (PE)
- 5+ years experience in engineering design of medium and low voltage distribution systems, building electrical systems and campus-style power distribution; including conveyance
- Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software
- Solid working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC)
