Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant

About the role:
justteachers are supporting a primary school in Bedworth to recruit a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant. This is a full-time role with an September 2026 start, fixed term until the end of the academic year. The school has a strong pastoral team, clear behaviour expectations and a commitment to restorative practice. Staff benefit from behaviour management and safeguarding CPD throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support pupils with behavioural needs
• Deliver targeted behaviour interventions
• Encourage positive engagement in learning
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff and familie

Pre-requisites:

• Level 2 or higher teaching assistant qualification or equivalent (Must be relevant to working with children)
• Proven experience working with children in a school or relevant setting (That can be referenced)
• A minimum of two references that cover the past two years, including last employer. Ideally references will be education or school-based references
