In addition to base pay, Kwik Trip gives 40% of pre-tax profits back to our coworkers with bonuses ranging from 8-12% of each coworker’s gross annual wage depending on company profitability and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and more.</span></span></p><p> </p><br><div><p><span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">We’re looking for a detail‑driven <strong>Retail Accounting Supervisor</strong> to ensure accurate store financial reporting and lead a team of Retail Accounting Coordinators. This role focuses on auditing sales, expenses, inventory, and cash management while supporting store teams and developing staff.</span></p></div><div><p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p></div><div><p><strong>Financial Review & Auditing</strong></p><p> </p><ul type="disc"><li>Perform detailed analysis and investigation of cash variances to ensure accurate reporting of cash variances</li></ul></div><div><ul type="disc"><li>Review reports for accurate sales, expenses, inventory, and cash over/short.</li></ul></div><div><ul type="disc"><li>Reconcile bank accounts, lottery, money orders, food delivery, and other GL accounts.</li></ul></div><div><ul type="disc"><li>Analyze and review reports of missing sales or incorrectly rang up sales and correct as needed</li></ul><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Store Support</strong></p></div><div><ul type="disc"><li>Communicate procedure updates and request missing information from stores.</li></ul></div><div><ul type="disc"><li>Answer store questions and research paperwork issues.</li><li>Maintain contact with the retail locations on any changes made to paperwork.</li></ul></div><div><p><strong>Team Leadership</strong></p></div><div><ul type="disc"><li>Supervise, mentor, and train team members.</li></ul></div><div><ul type="disc"><li>Support complex research on cash.</li></ul></div><div><ul type="disc"><li>Set goals, track progress, and provide performance feedback.</li></ul></div><div><ul type="disc"><li>Create and deliver training materials.</li></ul></div><div><ul type="disc"><li>Collaborate with other departments on process improvements and troubleshooting.</li><li>Develop procedures and reporting tools to improve accuracy and efficiency.</li></ul></div><div><p><strong>What You Bring</strong></p></div><div><ul type="disc"><li>1–3 years of experience in retail, inventory, customer service, or supervision.</li></ul></div><div><ul type="disc"><li>Knowledge of retail inventory and cash management processes.</li></ul></div><div><ul type="disc"><li>Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.</li></ul></div><div><ul type="disc"><li>Ability to prioritize, adapt, maintain confidentiality, and work as part of a team.</li></ul></div><div><ul type="disc"><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office.</li><li>Comfortable with navigating multiple technology platforms</li><li>Ability to learn new technology platforms as needed (example: new POS system)</li><li>Knowledge and ability to use a personal computer</li><li>Ability to adapt to change</li><li>Ability to analyze store data and provide feedback</li><li>Proficient typing and 10 key skills</li><li>Possess a valid driver’s license</li></ul><p><strong>Work schedule: Monday through Friday, daytime hours.</strong></p><p> </p><p><strong>Deadline to Apply: Friday, May 22nd</strong></p></div><br>Kwik Trip, Inc. is a family-owned, Midwest company, in operation since 1965.
