About the role:
Justteachers is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a specialist SEN school in Stratford-upon-Avon for a full-time SEN Support Assistant. Working across Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3, this role starts in September 2026 and continues until the Christmas break, supporting students with a wide range of additional educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support pupils with Autism, SEMH, ADHD and learning difficulties.
- Work alongside teaching staff to deliver engaging and accessible learning.
- Provide one-to-one and small group support tailored to individual needs.
- Encourage positive behaviour, confidence and independence.
- Assist with classroom organisation and learning resources.
- Monitor pupil engagement and provide feedback to teaching staff.
Pre-requisites:
- Previous experience in an SEN, education or care setting is desirable.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Patient, resilient and adaptable approach to supporting pupils.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a wider school team.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Willingness to undertake relevant training where required.
