<strong>Homeowner Services Officer</strong><br><br> <br>📍 Eastleigh | 💰 £36,986 per annum | 🕒 37 hours per week | 📄 Permanent, Full Time<br><br> <br>An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Homeowner Services Officer to join a specialist residential services team in Eastleigh.<br><br> <br>This role involves managing a portfolio of leasehold, freehold and shared ownership properties, providing specialist housing advice and supporting all aspects of leasehold management.<br><br> <br><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><br><ul><li>Manage leasehold and shared ownership properties</li><ul><li>Handle service charge enquiries and disputes</li><li>Investigate breaches of lease and covenant issues</li><li>Support lease extensions, enfranchisement and assignments</li><li>Work closely with legal teams on leasehold matters</li><li>Provide advice on leasehold legislation and housing management</li><li>Manage challenging situations professionally and effectively</li></ul></ul><strong>About You</strong><br><br> <br>The ideal candidate will have:<br><ul><li>Experience in housing, leasehold or residential property management</li><ul><li>Knowledge of shared ownership and homeowner services</li><li>Understanding of leasehold legislation including:</li></ul><ul><li>Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Act 2002</li><ul><li>Landlord and Tenant legislation</li><li>Building Safety Act 2022</li></ul></ul><ul><li>Experience managing service charges, lease extensions and breach of covenants</li><li>Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills</li><li>Ability to manage a varied caseload independently</li></ul></ul><strong>Essential Requirements</strong><br><ul><li>Full UK driving licence</li><ul><li>Access to own vehicle</li></ul></ul><strong>What’s on Offer</strong><br><ul><li>Salary of £36,986 per annum</li><ul><li>Permanent full-time role</li><li>Career development opportunities</li><li>Supportive team environment</li></ul></ul>Apply now to take the next step in your housing career.<br><br> <br> <br><br> ⚠ Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
