Are you an experienced Plant Workshop Foreman, Senior Plant Fitter, or Workshop Supervisor looking for your next challenge?
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading company within the plant hire industry for an experienced Plant Workshop Foreman to lead a busy workshop, ensuring equipment is maintained to the highest standard while supporting and developing a team of engineers.

The Role
As Plant Workshop Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the workshop, ensuring repairs, servicing, and inspections are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support workshop engineers on a daily basis
• Plan and prioritise workshop activities to minimise equipment downtime
• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a range of plant machinery and equipment
• Ensure all work is completed in line with manufacturer guidelines and company standards
• Maintain high levels of health and safety within the workshop
• Assist with fault diagnosis and provide technical support where required
• Ensure workshop records and job documentation are completed accurately

About You
To be considered for this role, you’ll have:

• Previous experience as a Workshop Foreman, Senior Plant Fitter, Workshop Supervisor, or similar
• Strong knowledge of plant machinery, construction equipment, or small tools
• Experience carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs
• Excellent leadership and organisational skills
• A proactive approach with a strong focus on quality and customer service
