Campus Recruiter, Talent Acquisition Due to continued national growth and increasing demand for practice ready doctors, Heartland Dental is expanding its campus recruiting strategy to include a dedicated focus on dental residency programs. The Campus Residency Recruiter is responsible for owning and executing Heartland Dental’s residency recruiting strategy, with a focus on building long term relationships with General Practice Residency (GPR) and Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) programs. The Campus Residency Recruiter will engage directly with residency program directors, faculty, and resident doctors to position Heartland Dental as a long term post residency career partner. This role will focus on high need and regulated markets, delivering tailored, clinically credible engagement and creating a predictable pipeline of residency trained candidates. Extensive national travel is required (up to 75%). Heartland Dental is the nation's largest dental support organization, providing non-clinical administrative support services to more than 3,100 supported doctors across 39 states and the District of Columbia in 1,900+ dental offices. Each Heartland Dental supported office is unique to the community and the patients they serve. Supported doctors are the clinical leaders of their practice, retain full clinical autonomy, and establish their own care philosophies. Key Responsibilities: Own and execute Heartland Dental’s residency recruiting strategy under the direction of the Campus Recruiting Manager. Build, maintain, and scale long ‑ term relationships with priority GPR and AEGD residency programs (approximately 30–40 programs nationally). Serve as the primary point of contact for residency program directors and faculty, positioning Heartland Dental as an educator and long ‑ term academic partner rather than a traditional vendor. Develop and deliver residency ‑ specific engagement that effectively articulates Heartland Dental’s value proposition to residency doctors, including tailored presentations, small ‑ group sessions, resident dinners, and other platforms. Navigate permission ‑ based campus access and secure annual invitations to priority residency programs through consistent, high ‑ value engagement. Partner closely with doctor recruiters and regional operations teams to align residency recruiting with market hiring needs and conversion strategies. Create and maintain a Residency Recruiting Playbook and track residency engagement, candidate pipelines, and recruiting outcomes using Heartland Dental systems. Monitor market trends, licensure requirements, and residency program dynamics to continuously optimize recruiting strategy. Support additional strategic recruiting initiatives and projects as assigned. Desired Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, campus recruiting, or a related discipline preferred. Demonstrated ability to build consultative, long ‑ term relationships with senior stakeholders (e.g., faculty, program directors, clinical leaders). Strong understanding of and experience recruiting within professional, graduate ‑ level healthcare environments, including dental, medical, and residency/fellowship programs preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage credibly in clinical and career ‑ oriented conversations with experienced candidates. High level of professionalism and organization, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across recruiting teams Experience using applicant tracking systems (iCIMS experience strongly preferred). Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment with evolving priorities. Willingness and ability to travel nationally up to 75%.
