About the Role
<strong>Job Requirements </strong><br><p>Under direct supervision, collects blood samples by performing venipunctures or finger or heel sticks on patients. Checks the quality of blood and assumes responsibility for the safety and comfort of the patient, following established standards and practices. Processes all samples within the department, either manually or using automation equipment, including send-outs. Responsible for outstanding customer service through verbal and written communication. </p><ul><li><span style="color:rgb(89,89,89);">Responds to telephone inquiries for test results, specimen status, or other general inquiries. </span></li><li><span style="color:rgb(89,89,89);">Assists with orientation and training new team members and students as needed.</span></li><li><span style="color:rgb(89,89,89);">Performs maintenance and troubleshoots. Assures all phlebotomy carts are stocked and checked for expired supplies. </span></li></ul><br><br><strong>Work Experience </strong><br><ul><li><span style="color: rgb(89, 89, 89);">Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) </span></li><li><span style="color: rgb(89, 89, 89);">Experience: </span>2 year of relevant experience</li></ul><br><br><strong>Benefits </strong><br><p>$2500 Sign On Bonus</p><br><br>
