This program provides PAs with the crucial skills needed to deliver comprehensive, team-based care for high-risk and convalescing newborns. The program runs 12-months and includes: Mentoring Didactic teaching Simulations Skills training Clinical experiences Pediatrix Medical Group of San Antonio: The group provides a full range of newborn/neonatal care in three inner-city hospital systems with multiple Level-II and Level-III+ NICUs The medical community includes a wide range of mother and infant subspecialists supported by two children’s hospitals for this growing South Texas area Responsibilities include managing and facilitating comprehensive neonatal care including programs for HFOV, nitric oxide and ECMO We welcome new graduates and provide a comprehensive new graduate orientation and mentor program  Known as a big city with the feel of a small town, San Antonio is one of the fastest growing cities in the United States.
