Transport Operator - Hinckley - £33,000 Due to a recent acquisition and an influx of business, we are proud to be supporting our client in their search for a Transport Operator for their busy team. The Role of Transport Operator: Manage all daily transport movements Ensure all collections and deliveries are on schedule in line with customer expectations Be first point of contact for all haulier communications Highlight any discrepancies at collection / delivery Track all work through TMS system Monitor site rules and Health & Safety procedures Manage customer SOPs Escalate any issues Update and manage issues log Communicate by phone Work closely with the broker team The Person: A good knowledge of the UK A background in transport / haulage and subcontracting Experience working within a busy logistics environment Exposure to a fast paced environment An understanding of vehicle types & driver hours An outstanding communicator Good administrative skills Knowledge of TMS systems The details: Monday - Friday, operating hours between 07:00 - 18:00, shift to be discussed Free on site parking Smart, serviced offices Company pension APPLY NOW INDPERMS
