Many of our employees donate their time, make personal financial contributions, and share their knowledge, expertise, and talent with a number of nonprofit and charitable organizations; as well as attending community events and activities they are passionate about. Each office is given the flexibility to select its own service activities.
Some recent examples include the "Avon Walk for Breast Cancer" and several river cleanups. We're active globally too, as a group of volunteers from Geosyntec's New England Branch began designing an off-grid water supply system for a school in rural Liberia.

In the past year, Geosyntec employees have donated nearly 3,000 hours to over 50 philanthropic projects individually, as teams, and through corporate-sponsored activities. Over a quarter of Geosyntec employees volunteer in a variety of ways including giving their time at local schools, helping out at animal shelters, and providing low-income kids with something special during the holidays. These efforts are supported by Geosyntec through in-kind donations, meeting space, flexible schedules, and a caring atmosphere.
As a global corporation, Geosyntec recognizes our corporate responsibility to give back. When each of our employees reaches a service milestone (5, 10, etc. years with the firm), Geosyntec makes a donation to the employee's charity of choice. Additionally, the firm contributes to disaster relief funds supporting local recovery efforts in times of crisis around the world.
