About the Role

We are looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our clients friendly finance team of 3 . This is a great opportunity for someone in the early stages of their finance career, particularly those studying or looking to study AAT, who wants to build a strong foundation in purchase ledger with clear opportunities for progression as the role develops. Key Responsibilities Processing high volumes of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently Matching, batching and coding invoices Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies Preparing payment runs Dealing with supplier queries in a timely and professional manner Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc tasks About You Previous experience in a purchase ledger or accounts role is desirable but not essential Currently studying or interested in studying AAT (or equivalent) Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Confident communicator with a proactive approach Comfortable working as part of a close-knit team Outgoing, personable and enjoys a sociable workplace Company Culture This is a low-turnover company where people genuinely enjoy coming to work.
