SEN Teaching Assistant – Milton Keynes

About the role:

Justteachers is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Milton Keynes. This full-time role begins in September 2026 and is expected to continue until Easter 2027, with the potential to become a permanent position. You will work closely with pupils who have a range of special educational needs, providing tailored support to help them achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEN
• Assist teachers in delivering differentiated learning activities
• Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
• Support pupils with communication and social interaction
• Record and report on pupil progress

Pre-requisites:

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEN
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A patient, caring and adaptable approach
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one
• Two references within the last two years from a related field
