About the Role
Civil Site Foreman - Water InfrastructureLocation: South WestWe're currently recruiting for an experienced Civils Site Foreman/Supervisor to support the delivery of water infrastructure projects across the South West.Working on a long-term AMP programme, you will oversee on-site activities across projects including new water mains installation and pumping station construction. This is a key role supporting safe, efficient and high-quality project delivery in live utility environments.You will act as the link between site teams and senior site management, ensuring works are delivered in line with programme, safety standards and project specifications. The Role As Civils Site Foreman, you will coordinate daily site operations and supervise civil engineering works across water infrastructure schemes.Working closely with the Site Manager, engineers and project team, you will ensure works such as pipe laying, excavation, valve installation and reinforced concrete structures are delivered safely and to the required standards. Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise daily site operations on water mains installation and pumping station civilsOversee excavation, pipe laying, thrust blocks, valve installations and associated concrete worksSupport the construction of pumping stations including reinforced concrete bases, structures and chambersEnsure full compliance with health, safety and environmental standardsDeliver daily site briefings and manage permit systems and site documentationMonitor subcontractor performance and workmanship qualityCarry out site inspections in line with ITPs and method statementsSupport temporary works and lifting activities where requiredAssist with materials coordination, plant allocation and progress reportingMaintain strong communication with the Site Manager and wider project team About You You will be an experienced Site Foreman/Supervisor with a background in water infrastructure projects, confident managing site activities and supervising subcontractors within live utility environments.EssentialProven experience as a Site Foreman / Supervisor within the water or utilities sectorStrong background in water mains installation, pumping stations and associated civil engineering worksExperience working in live utility environmentsAbility to supervise subcontractors and site operatives effectivelyStrong understanding of quality assurance processes and site documentationExcellent communication and coordination skills Qualifications & CertificationsCSCS CardSSSTS or SMSTSEUSR SHEA WaterFirst Aid at WorkFull UK Driving Licence What's on OfferCompetitive day rate up to £350 per day - depending on experience.Long-term involvement within a major AMP water infrastructure programmeSupportive project teams and stable regional workload If you're a Civils Site Supervisor/Foreman with strong water infrastructure experience, this is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term work delivering essential utilities projects across the South West.
