About the role: Justteachers is delighted to be working with a welcoming and supportive two-form entry primary school in Bradford that is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join their team from September 2026 . This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a nurturing school community that is committed to delivering high-quality education and ensuring every child reaches their full potential. The role will be full-time for the entire 2026/27 academic year . The school is looking for a teacher who can inspire young learners, provide engaging and creative lessons, and support pupils as they continue their journey through Key Stage 1. The successful candidate will take responsibility for a Year 1 class, delivering lessons that promote progress, independence, and a love of learning. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum. Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment. Support pupils’ transition from EYFS into Key Stage 1. Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress effectively. Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils. Establish high expectations for behaviour, achievement, and presentation. Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and parents. Contribute positively to the wider life of the school. Pre-requisites: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Experience teaching within a primary school setting. Good understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum. Strong classroom and behaviour management skills. Excellent communication and organisational abilities. Commitment to raising standards and achieving positive outcomes for all pupils. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
