Job Title: Flexible Teaching Assistant

We are recruiting teaching assistants and learning support assistants (TA, LSA) to work in a special educational needs (SEND) department in a mainstream secondary school in Swindon. The ideal candidate will: -have experience working with autistic individuals -be highly proactive and build strong rapports with students as some students struggle with communicating their needs -be reliable, consistent and committed to helping these students to thrive -have a great sense of humour: the students and staff enjoy working in a relaxed, fun learning environment -have a DBS on the update service (or be able to get one) This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday from 8.30 to 3.30. You will be working closely in a team of adults in a small SEND department. The school encourage integration, so you will be working across the department and the mainstream school, consequently you must be confident building links between both settings.
