<p class="isSelectedEnd">A leading UK property consultancy is seeking an <strong>Assistant Town Planner</strong> to join its established planning team based in <strong>Reading</strong>. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career planner to develop their expertise within a highly respected multidisciplinary environment, working on a diverse range of projects across the residential, commercial, and mixed-use sectors.</p>
<p class="isSelectedEnd"><strong>The Role</strong><br />As an Assistant Town Planner, you will support senior planners in delivering high-quality planning advice to a wide range of clients. You will gain exposure to the full planning process and play a key role in preparing and managing planning applications and supporting project delivery.</p>

<p class="isSelectedEnd">Undertaking planning policy research and site appraisals</p>

</li>
<li>
<p class="isSelectedEnd">Liaising with local authorities, consultants, and clients</p>
</li>
<li>
<p class="isSelectedEnd">Monitoring planning policy updates and legislative changes</p>
</li>
<li>
<p class="isSelectedEnd">Supporting senior team members on a variety of development projects</p>
</li>
</ul>
<p class="isSelectedEnd"><strong>About You</strong></p>

<p class="isSelectedEnd">Degree in <strong>Town Planning</strong>, <strong>Urban Planning</strong>, or a related discipline</p>
</li>
<li>
<p class="isSelectedEnd">Working towards or interested in pursuing <strong>RTPI accreditation</strong></p>
</li>
<li>
<p class="isSelectedEnd">Strong written and verbal communication skills</p>
</li>
<li>
<p class="isSelectedEnd">Excellent research and analytical abilities</p>
</li>
<li>
<p class="isSelectedEnd">Proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple tasks</p>
</li>
<li>
<p class="isSelectedEnd">Some relevant planning experience (placement, internship, or consultancy experience desirable)</p>
