Are you a passionate Primary Teacher looking for something more rewarding than the mainstream classroom?
We are recruiting for a Primary Teacher to join a specialist SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health) school, working with children who need additional support to thrive both emotionally and academically.

About the Role
Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to small class groups
Support pupils with SEMH needs through a therapeutic, relationship-based approach
Focus on both academic progress and emotional development
Work closely with support staff and the wider multidisciplinary team
Create a safe, structured and nurturing classroom environment
Play a key role in helping pupils re-engage with education
Who We’re Looking For
Qualified Primary Teacher (QTS or equivalent) may consider unqualified with lots of experience in SEMH
Strong, resilient and adaptable
Passionate about supporting children with additional needs
Confident in behaviour management with a calm, consistent approach
Able to build positive, trusting relationships with pupils
A team player with a proactive and flexible attitude
Experience
Previous SEMH or SEND experience is highly desirable
However, we will also consider mainstream Primary Teachers who have a genuine interest in transitioning into an SEMH setting
