Shift Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (4 on 4 off)
Static Hospital Site
£45,000 + Overtime | Days & Nights (7–7)
We are recruiting a Shift Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a static hospital site in Hammersmith, working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (12-hour shifts, days and nights 7am–7pm).
This is a long-term, stable opportunity within a critical healthcare environment, ideal for engineers experienced in facilities management and building services maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
- Mechanical fault finding, servicing and repairs
- Maintain and repair:
- Air Handling Units (AHUs)
- LTHW / MTHW systems
- Pumps, valves and fan coil units (FCUs)
- Calorifiers and Plate Heat Exchangers (PHEs)
- Work within a live hospital environment following permits and RAMS
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and statutory regulations
- Update works via CAFM systems
Requirements
- NVQ / City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 in Mechanical / Building Services
- Experience in Facilities Management, commercial maintenance, or estates
- Strong PPM and reactive maintenance experience
- Able to work days and nights (4 on 4 off shift pattern)
- Healthcare experience beneficial but not essential
