About the Role

Justteachers is working in partnership with a secondary school in the Trafford area that is seeking to appoint a Teacher of English for an immediate start. This role is offered on a flexible supply basis, making it an excellent opportunity for teachers looking for adaptable working arrangements rather than a full-time position.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare engaging English lessons suited to different ages and abilities
• Deliver high-quality teaching that supports student understanding and progress
• Monitor and report on student achievement, progress, and development
• Create a positive classroom environment through effective behaviour management
• Organise and use teaching resources effectively to support learning

Pre-requisites:

• A degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status.
• The ability to teach to GCSE standard.
• Two education or school-based references
• Experience of teaching A Level (preferred but not essential)
• High expectations for behaviour and learning
