About the Role
Food Manufacturing company in Norcross has two openings for Ammonia Refrigeration Technicians / Mechanics 1st Shift: 5:00 AM - 2:30 PM2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 12:30 AMSome weekend hours required We're looking for skilled technicians who can handle the maintenance and operation of industrial ammonia refrigeration and related utility systems. You'll work independently to keep critical equipment running, solve problems as they come up, and respond when emergency repairs are needed. Job Duties: Perform maintenance, repairs, and installations on ammonia refrigeration equipmentDiagnose and fix mechanical issues with compressors, pumps, and related systemsConduct routine inspections and keep detailed maintenance logsMonitor system performance and make adjustments to optimize operationsManage relationships with external vendors and contractors during facility projectsRespond to equipment failures and emergency situations promptlyMaintain a safe work environment following all industry regulations and company policiesSupport production schedules by performing planned maintenance during off-peak times Skill Requirements Proven background working with industrial ammonia refrigeration systemsKnowledge of applicable safety standards and regulatory requirementsStrong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skillsPhysically capable of performing tasks like climbing, lifting, and working in various conditionsSelf-motivated with excellent attention to detailFlexibility to work non-standard hours including weekends and emergency call-ins To apply for the Industrial Refrigeration Technician position, please submit your resume in response to this ad or fill out an application on our website, impactstaffing.com.
