About the Role
<p>Trainee Service Engineer / Trainee Service Technician / Junior Service Engineer required to join a global, leading engineering manufacturer.<br><br>The Successful Trainee Service Engineer / Trainee Service Technician / Junior Service Engineer will provide electrical and mechanical repair, service, fault finding and maintenance on compressed air equipment including compressors, vacuum pumps, blowers & dryers, nitrogen generators and associated compressed air products at customer sites across North West with occasional travel to Manchester for training and parts collection.<br><br>The Trainee Service Engineer / Trainee Service Technician / Junior Service Engineer will ideally have hands-on experience in electromechanical or mechanical engineering. Preference will be given to candidates with a mechanical qualification, apprentice trained, FGas, NVQ level 3, city & guilds, HNC, HND or similar with hands on mechanical engineering servicing or installations. Full product training provided.<br><br><strong>Package</strong><br>£28,000 - £32,000 depending on experience<br>Company van <br>25 days holiday plus bank holidays<br>Company pension<br>Overtime<br>Additional benefits<br><br><strong>Trainee Service Engineer / Trainee Service Technician / Junior Service Engineer Role</strong><br>To provide electrical and mechanical repair, service and maintenance of compressed air equipment at customer sites.<br>The Compressor Service Engineer will undertake planned and preventative maintenance, provide advice, diagnostics, fault finding of compressed air systems, nitrogen generators, vacuum pumps, blowers & dryers, nitrogen generators and other compressed air products.<br>Installing compressed air/water & nitrogen pipelines into all forms of the manufacturing industry.<br>Perform emergency breakdown fault finding and repairs on various compressed air equipment.<br>Liaise with various engineering departments.<br>Working at customer sites throughout Northwest UK with occasional travel to Manchester for training and parts collection.<br><br><strong>Trainee Service Engineer / Trainee Service Technician / Junior Service Engineer Requirements</strong><br>Willingness to learn complicated electrical / mechanical engineering systems.<br>Experience as a Trainee Service Engineer, Apprentice Engineer, Apprentice Technician, Graduate Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Marine Engineer, Entry level Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Field Service Engineer or similar.<br>Hands-on experience in mechanical domains with a willingness to learn and be part of a global manufacturer.<br>Strong understanding of three-phase electrics and controls, with hands-on experience is advantageous.<br>Mechanical qualification, apprentice trained, FGas, NVQ level 3, city & guilds, HNC, HND or similar would be a plus. <br>Determination to learn the compressed air industry and related fields with enthusiasm for career progression opportunities.<br>Flexibility to travel across North West UK with occasional travel to Manchester for training and parts collection.</p>
