Unqualified Learning Support Assistant – Pembroke Monday – Friday | 8:30am – 3:30pm Full-Time & Part-Time Positions Available No Weekends | School Hours | Training Provided Are you passionate about making a real difference in a young person’s life? We are proud to be working in partnership with a well-established Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in the Pembroke area, supporting children and young people aged 3–19 years with a range of additional learning needs. About the Role As a Learning Support Assistant, you will support pupils with their individual development plans, helping them grow in confidence, independence, and educational progress. Every child is unique, and so is the support you’ll provide. The school uses a combination of classroom-based learning and hands-on sensory and practical activities to help pupils engage and succeed. Your role will involve: Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups Assisting with personalised learning plans Encouraging independence and self-confidence Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing Supporting sensory, practical, and outdoor learning activities Helping create a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment This role is about more than education — it’s about building trust, encouraging resilience, and helping young people believe in themselves. Training & Support You will receive full training and ongoing support from both Teaching Personnel and the school to ensure you feel confident and prepared in your role.
