Job Description
Manage a multidisciplinary imaging department with oversight of operations including budget management and staff performance.
Oversee the performance and development of 60-75% of department employees, conducting performance reviews and managing employee relations.
Handle equipment management, including documenting failures and communicating with leadership regarding impacts on patient care.
Identify trends in exam and patient needs by monitoring access reports, and draft business cases for resource allocation.
Partner with internal customers to improve workflows and resolve departmental issues.
Critical Information
Managers are required to be available by phone as early as 5 a.m. and participate in an on-call rotation providing 24/7 support.
Education/Licenses Needed
Graduate of an accredited diagnostic imaging program or a Bachelor's Degree, or four years of experience in a directly related field.
Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certificate (Washington) OR Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Certificate OR Radiologic Technologist Certification OR Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certificate from Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board.
