Teaching Assistant (Learning Mentor) – Specialist SEMH Provision – Bolton We are recruiting a dedicated Teaching Assistant (Learning Mentor) to support students within a specialist SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) provision in Bolton. This long-term role will run for the rest of the academic year, with potential for a permanent role. This is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting children with additional social and emotional needs. Key Responsibilities • Provide targeted 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEMH needs. • Build positive, trusting relationships to help students engage with learning. • Assist in developing and delivering personalised support plans and interventions. • Promote emotional regulation, resilience, and positive behaviour strategies. • Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and pastoral teams. • Support students during lessons, transitions, and throughout the school day. • Record progress and contribute to ongoing assessments and reviews.
