About the Role

Operator E&I – Offshore

Full-time | Offshore rotation | MBO level 3–4

We are looking for an experienced Operator E&I to work on offshore production platforms. In this role, you will perform a wide range of electrical and instrumentation tasks, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operations. You’ll be responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctions, and supporting continuous production in a demanding offshore environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on E&I systems and installations.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and operational regulations at all times.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve malfunctions to minimize production downtime.
  • Operate, set, and adjust equipment, performing test runs and start-ups when required.
  • Supervise third-party contractors working on installations.
  • Maintain accurate logs of work performed, materials used, and time spent, including input into logistics systems.
  • Contribute to the safe and efficient operation of energy generation, high-voltage, and instrumentation control systems.

Candidate Profile

  • Completed senior secondary vocational education (MBO 3–4) in electrical engineering, energy technology, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a comparable role, ideally offshore.
  • Solid knowledge of DCS systems, PLCs, ESD systems, fire & gas detection, and energy generation from diesel engines and turbines.
  • Skilled in electrical switching, reading P&IDs, and using calibration/measurement equipment.
  • Strong focus on quality, safety, and compliance.
  • Proactive, independent, and committed to delivering results.
  • Proficient in Dutch and English (B2 CEFR level).
  • Willingness to complete offshore-specific training and certifications as required.
