About the Role: Justteachers is recruiting an inspiring and knowledgeable History Teacher for a long-term supply role in a secondary school in Halifax, starting in September. This successful and forward-thinking school has a strong academic reputation and is committed to providing a broad and engaging curriculum. The successful candidate will teach History across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. Key Responsibilities: • Plan and deliver engaging History lessons across KS3, KS4 and KS5. • Assess, monitor and track student progress in line with departmental expectations. • Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations. • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic achievement. • Contribute to departmental planning, meetings and wider school initiatives. Pre-requisites: • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. • Experience teaching History across KS3, KS4 and KS5. • Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills. • Excellent safeguarding knowledge and practice. • Ability to provide two education-based references.
