Sales Ledger Supervisor Milton Keynes - Office Based £35,000 - £40,000 An opportunity for an experienced Sales Ledger Supervisor to take full ownership of a busy billing function within a fast-moving, operational business. This is a hands on leadership role where you’ll be responsible for both team performance and billing accuracy, with a real focus on improving processes, tightening controls, and driving cash performance.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, develop and manage the Sales Ledger team
- Oversee end-to-end billing, ensuring accuracy and timely invoicing
- Manage high volume billing cycles and workload planning
- Review and challenge billing inputs to ensure revenue is detailed correctly first time
- Improving data quality
- Own the month-end billing close, delivering within tight deadlines
- Produce revenue reporting, reconciliations and variance analysis
- Act as escalation point for billing queries, disputes and issues
- Partner with operational and commercial teams to improve billing processes
- Drive process improvements, system optimisation and KPI tracking
Key Requirements- Proven experience managing or supervising a Sales Ledger / billing team
- Strong background in high-volume invoicing environments
- Experience with complex billing structures and reconciliations
- Solid month-end experience with a focus on accuracy and deadlines
- Strong Excel and analytical skills
- Confident communicator with the ability to challenge and influence stakeholders
- Proactive approach with a focus on improving processes and controls
