Quality Inspection Operator Opportunity in Buelaville, NC Job Summary
We seek a hard-working and reliable Quality Inspection Tech to join our growing operation. You will work in our Inspection department, managing both incoming and outgoing orders. Under the supervision of the warehouse manager, you will visually inspect textile liners and cloth to ensure production quality. Will make any possible corrections and document all procedures. We prefer candidates who have some warehouse experience, but we are willing to train.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Set up the machine with the proper testing tools
- Pack and unpack the product
- Use hand tools such as scanners, measurement, and calipers to inspect and test equipment such as hydrualic cylinders
- Able to pay attention to detail and documentation.
- Standing for long periods of time, working in temperatures between 40 and 90 degrees.
- Bend and stand for long periods of time; carry products weighing 25-45 lbs during the shift.
- Little housekeeping, keep the area clean and free of dirt, dust, and other particles that would get the fabric dirty.
- Sort material according to size, type, style, color, or product code.
Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is a plus
- Solid work history that demonstrates reliability; warehouse work experience is a plus
- Able to work on your feet for 10-hour shifts and lift 30 lbs. regularly
- Basic computer skills for maintaining inventory logs and databases
- Good communication skills
