Position Title: Software Development Engineer, Simulation Foundations Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting Contract Software Development Engineer opportunity located in Redmond, WA. Job Responsibilities: Build systems using the latest AWS technologies Design and Implement Distributed Cloud-based Services and APIs Docker experience. Invent new tools that enable more frequent and reliable software deployment, test execution, and data analysis as part of a continuous integration and release system. Develop tools that allow for test execution across multiple environments: virtualized hardware, real hardware-in-the-loop simulations, and on-orbit testing. Evangelize engineering excellence best practices and mentor junior engineers. Knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts. Experience with systems integration and testing methodologies. Deep understanding of testing, continuous integration, build, deployment & continuous monitoring. Job Qualifications: 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience Experience programming with at least one software programming language Preferred Job Qualifications: 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience. Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent. Job Details: Job Type: Contract Location: Redmond, WA. Pay Rate Range: $65-80/hr.
