Opti Staffing Group is partnering with a growing industrial manufacturing company in North Portland that is looking to add an experienced Sandblaster to their team. This company values hard work, reliability, and employees who take pride in producing quality work in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform sandblasting on metal surfaces and fabricated components
- Prepare materials for painting, coating, and finishing processes
- Operate blasting equipment safely and efficiently
- Inspect finished surfaces to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements

What You Need to Have:
- At least 2 years of sandblasting experience
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work independently and stay productive
- Good work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to lift, stand, and work in an industrial environment
The Musts:
- Must have previous sandblasting experience
- Must follow safety procedures and wear PPE
- Reliable transportation and attendance required
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred:
- Experience working in fabrication or manufacturing environments
- Forklift experience is a plus
- Industrial coating or paint prep experience preferred
