About the Role
Technical Recruiting is seeking a Sourcer to join the Tech Recruiting team at Robinhood. This role is essential in supporting our efforts to hire top Infrastructure Engineering talent. As a Sourcer, you will collaborate with leaders across various teams to identify and engage world-class candidates, ensuring a positive experience for both the candidates and hiring teams. Additionally, this position offers the opportunity to contribute to the broader Technical Recruiting organization as needed.
This role is based in our Chicago, IL office with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.

What you’ll do
Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to become a subject matter expert for the teams you support and be able to articulate the organizational impact of open positions
Build and maintain diverse sourcing pipelines by leveraging multiple channels (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, internal talent pools, events, referrals, and outbound tools)
Conduct targeted outreach and manage candidate engagement through early-stage funnel steps, ensuring timely follow-ups and a strong candidate experience
Share talent market insights (e.g., competitor mapping, location-specific supply, role trends) to influence sourcing strategy and prioritization
Use data to track sourcing activity, pipeline health, and conversion trends while maintaining strong data integrity
What you bring
3+ years of sourcing experience (or equivalent experience in recruiting) with a focus on technical or engineering roles
Experience sourcing for Infrastructure Engineering roles (preferred) or demonstrated ability to ramp quickly in a new technical domain
Demonstrated ability to proactively source and engage passive candidates (beyond inbound applicants) using structured search and outreach strategies
Strong collaboration skills and comfort partnering across levels, with a clear, thoughtful communication style
Commitment to delivering an inclusive, candidate-first experience throughout the sourcing process
Outstanding written and verbal and communication skills across all levels
Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems and recruiting tools (ideally including Greenhouse, Gem, ChatGPT, and LinkedIn Recruiter)
