<p data-start="107" data-end="278"><strong data-start="107" data-end="126">The Opportunity</strong><br data-start="126" data-end="129" /> An established, independent planning consultancy is looking to appoint a Town Planner or Senior Town Planner to join its head office team in Banbury.</p>
<p data-start="280" data-end="665">This highly regarded consultancy specialises in securing planning permission across complex and often contentious development projects. Acting for a broad client base including developers, landowners, corporates and public sector bodies, the team is known for driving projects forward and delivering results in challenging planning environments.</p>
<p data-start="667" data-end="851">With a strong pipeline of work nationwide and a reputation for handling high-profile schemes, this is an excellent opportunity to join a commercially focused and dynamic planning team.</p>
<p data-start="853" data-end="1031"><strong data-start="853" data-end="865">The Role</strong><br data-start="865" data-end="868" /> You will play a key role in the delivery of planning projects, working closely with senior colleagues while taking increasing responsibility for your own caseload.</p>
<p data-start="1033" data-end="1060">Responsibilities include:</p>

<li data-section-id="qb7tw" data-start="1123" data-end="1190">Advising clients on planning strategy and development potential</li>
<li data-section-id="uft0k1" data-start="1191" data-end="1253">Preparing planning statements and supporting documentation</li>
<li data-section-id="m659hh" data-start="1254" data-end="1321">Engaging with local authorities, stakeholders and project teams</li>
<li data-section-id="cz0zy7" data-start="1322" data-end="1379">Coordinating multidisciplinary inputs across projects</li>
<li data-section-id="dafcdu" data-start="1380" data-end="1442">Supporting public consultations and stakeholder engagement</li>
</ul>
<p data-start="1444" data-end="1593">The role offers exposure to a wide range of sectors and complex planning scenarios, including strategic land, residential and commercial development.</p>
<p data-start="1595" data-end="1610"><strong data-start="1595" data-end="1608">About You</strong></p>
<ul data-start="1611" data-end="1949">
<li data-section-id="mqz3a8" data-start="1611" data-end="1676">RTPI-accredited degree in Town Planning or related discipline</li>
<li data-section-id="14g7jbc" data-start="1677" data-end="1732">Working towards or already MRTPI (for senior level)</li>
<li data-section-id="w20j3" data-start="1733" data-end="1799">Experience within a consultancy or local authority environment</li>
<li data-section-id="6d16n" data-start="1800" data-end="1846">Strong knowledge of the UK planning system</li>
<li data-section-id="1wf9var" data-start="1847" data-end="1900">Excellent report writing and communication skills</li>
<li data-section-id="1falp3s" data-start="1901" data-end="1949">Commercial awareness and a proactive mindset</li>
