About the Role

<span><span><span><span><b><span>Structural Designer </span></b></span></span></span></span><br /> <span><span><span><span><span>Responsible for developing the layouts, structural plans, elevation views, and detailed drawings</span></span></span></span></span><br /> <span><span><span><span><span>• Using AutoCAD software, for creating the 2D structural drawings for design approval and shop fabrication </span></span></span></span></span><br /> <span><span><span><span><span>CADWorx exp a plus </span></span></span></span></span><br /> <span><span><span><span><span>• Will utilize various drafting and CAD techniques to produce 2D drawings while working in a 3D design model environment for project requirements. For example, this would include drawings of industrial towers, pipe racks, skids, and platforms. </span></span></span></span></span><br /> <span><span><span><span><span>• Provide detailed structural concrete, steel structure, and installation drawings for varied industrial construction projects </span></span></span></span></span><br /> <span><span><span><span><span>• Provide structural component drawings and their connections to the structural steel and other structural materials </span></span></span></span></span><br /> <span><span><span><span><span>• Following the company nomenclature and standards </span></span></span></span></span><br /> <span><span><span><span><span>• Read and understand the structural drawings and the structural mark-ups from Engineering </span></span></span></span></span><br /> <span><span><span><span><span>• Make thorough and accurate modifications to drawings and return drawings to Engineering on a timely basis </span></span></span></span></span><br /> <span><span><span><span><span>• Follow company procedures to ensure that all drawings have the proper approvals before releasing updated drawings</span></span></span></span></span><br /> <span><span><span><span><span>• Bachelor’s or Associate's Degree in a technical field a plus</span></span></span></span></span><br /> <span><span><span><span><span>• Experience reading and understanding structural steel and civil engineering drawings </span></span></span></span></span><br /> <span><span><span><span><span>• Experienced in managing the revision process for structural/civil drawings</span></span></span></span></span><br /> <span><span><span><span><span>Offered health, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k) savings plan; long term disability coverage; and life and accident insurance and any applicable federal and state sick leave.<br /> Pay range open to negotiation </span></span></span></span></span><br />
