We are seeking a Project Manager with a commercial mindset, excellent communication skills and a passion for learning, to work closely with the commercial and development teams in delivering software projects from pre-sales through to successful implementation at client sites.
The role would suit either an experienced Project Manager from within a software environment or a recent graduate with a related degree who is looking to build a career in software project management. Full support and ongoing development will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity to grow your skills whilst taking on increasing responsibility.

Key Responsibilities, Software Project Manager:
- Assist the commercial team during the pre-sales process, including writing tender responses and planning project implementations.
- Manage the implementation of software solutions within Police Forces, other public sector agencies and private sector organisations, with projects typically ranging from three months to one year.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the company’s software solutions in order to confidently demonstrate functionality, gather client requirements and liaise effectively with the development team.
- Monitor project progress, communicate updates and work alongside senior management to ensure successful project delivery.
- Travel throughout the UK and occasionally abroad to support software demonstrations, project implementation and client meetings.
- Build strong working relationships with clients to ensure a positive implementation experience and ongoing customer satisfaction.
Personal Specification, Project Manager:
- Commercially aware with a business-minded approach.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the confidence to engage clients at all levels.
- Strong written English with the ability to produce clear and compelling proposals.
- Ability to work as part of a small, hardworking, fun and engaging team.
- Confident in presenting and demonstrating software solutions.
- Previous Project Management experience is desirable; however, attitude, enthusiasm and a genuine passion for learning are equally important, and recent graduates with a relevant degree will be considered.
- Organised, proactive and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
