About the Role
Our expectations Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 8+ years in Software QA, with at least 5 years in a Lead role. Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and the full SDLC. Proven track record in defining test strategies; solid manual testing experience with strong exposure to automation. Hands-on experience with JIRA, XRAY, or similar defect-tracking tools. Working knowledge of SQL for data validation and experience in Linux environments. Exceptional leadership skills and the ability to communicate effectively within remote/distributed teams. Good English skills (minimum B2). Open for hybrid work form our offices (Warszawa, Białystok, Lublin, Kielce, Poznań). Nice to have Experience with Test Automation Frameworks (Playwright, Robot Framework, etc.). Cloud experience, specifically with Azure. Familiarity with High-volume transaction systems or Event-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka). ISTQB Certification (Advanced Level preferred). Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows. Main responsibilities Own and continuously improve the quality strategy, test approach, and QA best practices across projects. Define, prepare, and maintain comprehensive test plans and documentation. Coordinate manual and automated testing based on project priorities. Work closely with the Automation Lead on framework standards and adoption. Partner with DevOps and Product teams to bake quality into the SDLC/STLC. Lead QA activities for distributed, multi-location teams. Mentor junior and mid-level QA engineers to foster technical growth. Review requirements for testability and risk. Oversee defect management and quality metrics using JIRA and XRAY. Support the definition of test data strategies and ensure proper environment preparation.
