<p><strong>Project Manager needed in North London Paying  £397.33 per day ref OR101013</strong></p> <p><strong>Full time hours on a temporary basis</strong></p> <p><em>About the Role</em></p> <p>We are seeking an experienced and highly organised <strong>Project Manager</strong> to lead the end‑to‑end delivery of changes to the <strong>Local Council Tax Support (LCTS) scheme for 2027/28</strong>.</p> <p>This is a high‑profile policy project with a statutory deadline for adoption by <strong>March 2027</strong>, involving complex programme planning, public consultation, system implementation and extensive stakeholder engagement. You will play a central role in shaping a flagship policy that directly impacts residents, ensuring the scheme is fair, financially sound and legally robust.</p> <p><em>Key Responsibilities</em></p> <ul> <li>Lead the full LCTS policy change programme through to adoption by March 2027</li> <li>Develop and manage detailed project plans covering modelling, consultation, reporting, approvals and system delivery</li> <li>Coordinate contributions from multiple internal teams and external partners including <strong>Policy in Practice (PiP), NEC, Digital/ICT, Communications, Legal, Democratic Services and Finance</strong></li> <li>Oversee the commissioning and delivery of scheme modelling and impact assessments</li> <li>Lead the preparation and delivery of a <strong>12‑week public consultation</strong>, ensuring accessibility, compliance and best practice</li> <li>Manage engagement with key stakeholders including senior leadership, elected Members, the GLA and community groups</li> <li>Ensure high‑quality reports and supporting analysis are prepared for senior decision‑making forums</li> <li>Oversee the Equality Impact Assessment (EQIA) process and embed findings into final recommendations</li> <li>Coordinate system requirements and implementation with <strong>NEC</strong> to ensure the scheme is technically deliverable within the annual billing cycle</li> <li>Manage project governance, risks, documentation and audit trails throughout the programme lifecycle</li> </ul> <p>If you are interested in the role, please email your CV to verity@essentialemploy.co.uk quoting the reference number. </p> <p>Essential Employment is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
