The successful candidate will be responsible for painting and finishing industrial signage, ensuring high-quality, durable products that meet customer specifications and industry standards. This position requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities:<br></strong><br> </div><ul> <li> <strong>Paint Industrial Signage:</strong> Apply paint, coatings, and finishes to various industrial signage materials, including metal, plastic, and composite surfaces, ensuring an even and smooth finish.</li> <li> <strong>Set Up Equipment:</strong> Prepare and operate spray guns, airbrushes, and other painting equipment to meet production requirements.</li> <li> <strong>Quality Control:</strong> Inspect painted surfaces for defects, ensuring the finished product meets quality standards. Rework or touch up signage as needed.</li> <li> <strong>Read Blueprints and Specifications:</strong> Interpret design specifications and drawings to determine the correct colors, finishes, and techniques for each signage project.</li> <li> <strong>Maintain Equipment and Tools:</strong> Regularly clean and maintain painting tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.</li> <li> <strong>Ensure Safety Compliance:</strong> Follow all safety guidelines and protocols, including the proper handling of paints, solvents, and hazardous materials.</li> <li> <strong>Inventory Management:</strong> Monitor paint and material inventory, notifying management of any shortages or supply needs.</li> <li> <strong>Collaborate with Team Members:</strong> Work closely with other painters, production staff, and supervisors to ensure timely and efficient project completion.</li> </ul><div> <strong>Qualifications:<br></strong><br> </div><ul> <li> <strong>Experience:</strong> Previous experience in industrial painting, particularly in signage or similar fields, is preferred.</li> <li> <strong>Skills:</strong> Proficient with spray painting techniques, masking, and finishing methods.
