Audit Senior – Practice

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client based in Central London, who is looking for an Audit Senior/Assistant Manager on a permanent full-time basis. This role would be largely office based, and our client is looking for someone with experience in a similar role.

Typical duties include:

• Leading fieldwork on audit assignments across a diverse portfolio of clients
• Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts and supporting workpapers
• Supervising and mentoring junior team members on-site and remotely
• Liaising directly with clients, acting as a key point of contact during fieldwork
• Assisting with audit planning, risk assessment, and completion processes
• Supporting managers with technical issues and file reviews
• Ensuring compliance with UK GAAP and auditing standards

You will have:

• ACA or ACCA part-qualified or newly qualified
• Strong technical audit and accounts preparation skills
• Confident communicator with some client-facing experience
• Ability to manage workloads across multiple assignments
• Proactive, detail-focused, and keen to develop supervisory responsibility
