A highly regarded secondary school in Reading, Berkshire, rated Good by Ofsted, is seeking a committed and enthusiastic English Teacher to join the team immediately to cover a long-term staff absence.

This role offers a full teaching timetable for KS3 and KS4, with opportunities for extended placement depending on staffing needs in the new year. You will be joining a supportive and well-established English department with a strong focus on student achievement and engagement.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Be a qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent

• Have experience teaching English at Key Stages 3 and 4

• Demonstrate strong classroom management skills

• Be passionate about inspiring young learners and fostering a love for English

• Be flexible, reliable, and committed to the role

Essential Requirement:

• Must have the legal right to work in the UK - no visa sponsorship available due to the nature of the contract
