Simply Education is working in partnership with a secondary school in Wigan to recruit a confident and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor for a full-time, long-term supply role starting in September.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable classroom experience within a supportive school environment. The Role

• Supervise classes during teacher absences using pre-prepared lesson plans
• Ensure students remain engaged and on task throughout lessons
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Support students with their learning and encourage participation
• Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour
• Assist with the smooth running of the school day as required

The Ideal Candidate

• Experience working with young people in a school, youth work, coaching, or similar setting
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Confident leading groups of students independently
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
• Flexible, reliable, and professional approach
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
