SEN Teaching Assistant - Harlow

We are working with a supportive primary school in Harlow who are looking to appoint a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs, including ASD, ADHD and communication difficulties.

This is a highly rewarding role for someone who is passionate about making a meaningful difference in children’s lives and is confident working both 1:1 and in small groups.

The school has a strong inclusion ethos and offers ongoing training and support for staff working within SEN provision.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Providing tailored 1:1 and small group support
• Supporting pupils with EHCP targets and learning plans
• Helping manage emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
• Working closely with the SENCO and class teacher

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with children with SEN (school or care background considered)
• Is calm, resilient and consistent in their approach
• Can build strong, trusting relationships with pupils
• Has a genuine passion for inclusive education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
