About the Role

Position Summary:
The E-Commerce Associate provides our E-Commerce customers with quality, clear, and
concise listings by performing the following duties to quality and productivity standards.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
1. Basic judgment skills to determine merchandise/donation listing value.
2. Ability to communicate both orally, in writing and by typing.
3. Basic math skills and ability to make changes for accurate updates.

4. Working knowledge of computers, including the Microsoft Office Suite.
Additional Requirements:
1. Supports the mission and vision of Goodwill Industries of Mississippi, Inc.
2. Open availability.
3. Ability to transfer to other working locations, as directed by management.
4. Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
5. Promotes and demonstrates ethical practices in all activities.
6. Promotes a safe work environment and follows all CARF requirements.
7. Ability to pass alcohol/drug screenings, criminal background check and any insurance
driving record check.
Physical Requirements:
1. Sits for most of the workday, may stand and walk as needed.
2. Routinely reaches throughout the day, generally at shoulder height or below.
Infrequently pushes and pulls.
3. Ability to team lift up to 25-50 pounds on an infrequent basis.

Primary Duties:

1. Takes clear and accurate photographs of items, in such detail and number to provide the
potential customer with enough information about the item’s appearance, condition, size,
color, shape, composition, brand, model, size, and other descriptive detail.
2. Removes merchandise from transport containers and sorts, as needed.
3. Keeps accurate records of items listed.
4. Labels and sorts listed items into their proper storage space.
5. Picks orders accurately and prepares required material for shipping.
6. Complies with established Goodwill policies and procedures and collaboratively works with
all cross-functional departments, including transportation and retail stores to achieve desired
results.
7. Adheres to security protocol and guidelines of established Goodwill policies and procedures.
8. Maintains a quick and efficient work pace in order to adhere to posting quotas.
9. Maintains and ensures all postings adhere to website policies and procedures.
10. Quality checks posted items periodically for accuracy and reports any discrepancies.
11. Works as scheduled, being flexible when needed.
12. Performs other duties as assigned.
